Football Recap: Mcqueen Skates Past Foothill with Ease + How To Watch

While McQueen put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Foothill. The Lancers took their game with ease, bagging a 48-0 win over the Mustangs. Given the Lancers' advantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 22nd in Nevada, while the Mustangs are ranked 644th in California) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

McQueen got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Nason Rodriguez out in front who rushed for 96 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries. Another signal caller making a difference was Ryder Tucker, who threw for 88 yards and three TDs while completing 80% of his passes.

McQueen didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Colin Pairis Angier and Jason Furumoto. Chilly Walker was another major factor on D, picking up a sack, forcing one fumble, and making 13 total tackles.

McQueen now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Foothill, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McQueen will head out to face off against Reed at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Foothill, they will venture away from home to square off against Ponderosa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
