Baseball Recap: Merritt Takes a Loss

After soaring to 17 runs the game before, Merritt was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They came up short against the Navajo Indians, falling 12-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Oilers in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost six in a row.

Merritt's loss dropped their record down to 3-7-1. As for Navajo, the victory (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 16-1.

Coming up, Merritt is taking a road trip to face off against Riverside Indian at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Navajo, they will host Mangum at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
