Baseball Game Preview: Cascade Cougars vs. North Marion Huskies

For the second straight game, Cascade will face off against North Marion. The Cougars are taking a road trip to take on the Huskies at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Cascade is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They walked away with a 10-6 win over North Marion on Wednesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Cougars considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Carter Condon made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Cascade is undefeated when he allows at most two earned runs, but 2-4 otherwise. Condon was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. That run marked the first that he scored this season.

In other batting news, Ethan Hendricks was incredible, going 1-for-5 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. RG Majors was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Cascade always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .550. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Cascade now has a winning record of 5-4. As for North Marion, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.
