Softball Recap: Jeanerette Tigers vs. Midland Rebels        
        
		
            
 Monday just wasn't the day for Jeanerette's offense. They fell victim to a  rough 15-0 loss at the hands of the Midland Rebels  on Monday. The shutout was out of character for Jeanerette seeing as the last time the team failed to score was  back in February.
 For Midland's part,  Mackenzie Credeur made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Credeur has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Credeur was also big at the plate,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-2.
 In other batting news,  Alyssa Bertrand was a standout: she scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Abigail Myers, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in all two of her plate appearances.
 Jeanerette dropped their record down to 2-13 with that  defeat, which was their fifth straight  on the road. As for Midland, the  victory was  the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-12.
 Jeanerette will be staying on the road  on Tuesday to face off against Franklin at 4:30  p.m. Jeanerette is facing Franklin at the right time seeing as Franklin is stuck on  an  11-game losing streak. Midland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
