Jacksonville had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 78-60 win over the Saks Wildcats. Given the Golden Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 148th, while the Wildcats are ranked 395th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jacksonville pushed their record up to 13-10 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.1 points per game. As for Saks, they moved to 5-11 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
