Volleyball Recap: Moapa Valley Takes a Loss

Moapa Valley was the 2-0 winner over Sierra Vista when they last played one another back in August of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Pirates took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mountain Lions on Friday. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Moapa Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Sierra Vista, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6.

Coming up, Moapa Valley will head out on the road to challenge Pahrump Valley at 6:00 p.m. on September 8. As for Sierra Vista, they will be taking part in a tournament against Cimarron-Memorial at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
