Football Recap: Keansburg Titans vs. Point Pleasant Beach Garnet Gulls
Keansburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 24-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Point Pleasant Beach Garnet Gulls. The Titans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Garnet Gulls apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.
Point Pleasant Beach's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Liam Brosnan led the charge by rushing for 92 yards and a touchdown.
Keansburg's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Point Pleasant Beach, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Keansburg will square off against Shore Regional at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
