Alta and Highland pushed the score to 7-1 the last time they played Highland, but on Friday defenses reigned supreme. The Hawks walked away with a 2-0 win over the Rams. Given Alta's advantage in MaxPreps' Utah soccer rankings (they are ranked fourth, while Highland are ranked 69th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for Alta and bumps their season record up to 12-2. As for Highland, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.
