Volleyball Recap: Rhyan Brenna's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Pottsville over Boyertown

Pottsville lost against Boyertown back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Crimson Tide took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bears.

The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 15-25, 25-16, 25-18.

Pottsville's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rhyan Brenna, who had 15 digs, nine blocks, six kills, and three aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Megan Yost, who had 11 digs and one block.

Pottsville's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Pottsville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Tamaqua on the 26th. As for Boyertown, they will head out to face off against Schuylkill Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
