Football Game Preview: Markesan vs. Palmyra-Eagle

On Friday Palmyra-Eagle take on Markesan at 7:00 PM. Palmyra-Eagle are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the matchup prepared for a fight.

Palmyra-Eagle put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season last Friday. They steamrollered North Fond du Lac 42-0. The success made it back-to-back wins for Palmyra-Eagle.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 50 points the game before, Markesan faltered in their contest last Friday. They were completely outmatched, falling 2-40 to Horicon/Hustisford. Markesan's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Palmyra-Eagle's win lifted them to 5-1 while Markesan's loss dropped them down to 4-3. We'll see if Palmyra-Eagle's success rolls on or if Markesan are able to steal their positive momentum.
