Volleyball Recap: Aiden Meacham's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Mesa Ridge over Doherty

Mesa Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Doherty Spartans. The Grizzlies were not able to make up for their defeat to the Spartans from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Several Grizzlies players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aiden Meacham, who had three digs and one block. With that strong performance, Meacham is now averaging an impressive 12.4 assists per game.

Mesa Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Doherty, they moved to 3-8 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.
