Everything went their way against the McCall-Donnelly Vandals on Thursday as they made off with a 19-0 victory. The Wolverines might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by seven runs or more this season.

Weiser got a massive performance out of Taylor Mordhorst, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those four RBI gave Mordhorst a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Stromberg, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles.

Weiser was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as McCall-Donnelly only posted a batting average of .238.

The win was the fifth in a row for Weiser, bringing their record up to 7-2. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for McCall-Donnelly, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
