It's playoff time, and Beecher had no trouble coming through when it counted. They had just enough and edged out the Reed-Custer Comets 3-2 on Saturday. This was a revenge game for Beecher: when they faced off against Reed-Custer back in March, they had to take a 6-3 defeat.

Beecher hit Reed-Custer with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Braelynn Scanlan, Grace Durante, and Ava Gaidar.

Beecher is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-12 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those four games. As for Reed-Custer, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.

Beecher has already played their next contest, a 4-0 defeat against Coal City on the 20th. Reed-Custer does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
