If Jackson Center wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Covington, they should've done a better job of containing Ramse Vanderhorst. The Buccs were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers on Monday for which the team can thank Vanderhorst, who had 31 digs and one assist. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last eight games she's played dating back to last season.

While Covington won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 28-26, 25-17.

The win got Covington back to even at 2-2. As for Jackson Center, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Covington will host Troy Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Buccs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Jackson Center, they will welcome Russia at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
