Recap: Nature Coast Tech Sharks vs. Gulf Buccaneers
The Nature Coast Tech Sharks won the last time they faced the Gulf Buccaneers, and things went their way on Thursday too. Nature Coast Tech walked away with a 38-26 victory over Gulf.
Nature Coast Tech got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Quintara Norwood out in front who scored 11 points. Isabella Castillo O was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with two steals.
Nature Coast Tech pushed their record up to 7-6 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Gulf, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nature Coast Tech won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Springstead at 6:30 p.m. on January 19th. Springstead is coming into the game hot, having won their last ten games. As for Gulf, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Zephyrhills at 7:30 p.m.
