Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Pikeville walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Williamsburg Yellow Jackets 56-18. Considering the Panthers have won six contests by more than 26 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Pikeville's win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 37.4 points over those games. As for Williamsburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.

Coming up, Pikeville will take on Middlesboro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Yellowjackets have now posted at least 31 points in their last four matchups. Williamsburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
