On Tuesday, Kuna faced Eagle in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Kuna Kavemen fell just short of the Eagle Mustangs by a score of 53-50. The Kavemen's loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Eagle got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Andrew Palferman out in front who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 boards. Palferman is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least three every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Clark Kochivar, who posted ten points.

Kuna's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 9-2. As for Eagle, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Kuna didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 52-49 win against Rocky Mountain on the 16th. Eagle has also already played their next contest, a 52-48 victory against Borah on the 16th.
