Wells is 8-2 against Carlin since October of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Wells and 11 for Carlin dating back to last season.

Wells came up short against Lund on Wednesday, falling 3-0.

While Wells was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Carlin lost 3-0 to Lund on Friday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-6, 25-12.

Wells' loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Carlin, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

Wells took their win against Carlin in their previous matchup back in August by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Leopards since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
