Basketball Recap: Mountain Lake/Comfrey's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Mountain Lake/Comfrey had to endure a 12-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against the Red Rock Central Falcons on Friday as Mountain Lake/Comfrey made off with a 60-40 victory. Mountain Lake/Comfrey's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Mountain Lake/Comfrey's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-10. As for Red Rock Central, they dropped their record down to 0-15 with the loss, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Mountain Lake/Comfrey will face off against Cedar Mountain at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cedar Mountain will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Mountain Lake/Comfrey surely won't give up without a fight. Red Rock Central has already played their next game, a 57-47 defeat against Wabasso on the 11th.
