Volleyball Recap: Chavez Find Success

It was a Battle of the Birds when Chavez duked it out with WISH Academy on Saturday. The Eagles won by a set and slipped past the Owls 1-0. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Owls, too.

Chavez is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-8 record this season. As for WISH Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Chavez didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-0 loss against Community Charter on the 27th. As for WISH Academy, they will challenge Animo Pat Brown at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
