After a string of four wins, The Master's Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Columbia Tigers by a score of 2-1.

Columbia can attribute much of their success to Bella Lester, who had 18 digs and three assists. Lester has been hot, having posted 13 or more digs the last five times she's played.

The Master's Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Columbia, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-4.

The Master's Academy has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Union County on the 13th. As for Columbia, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Ridgeview on the 13th.
