Soccer Recap: Rappahannock County's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

After flying high against Galileo last Friday, Rappahannock County came back down to earth. Rappahannock County fell just short of the Strasburg Rams by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Rappahannock County of the 6-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Aiden Stoner wasn't going to let Strasburg walk away unscathed as he scored both of Rappahannock County's goals, bringing his season total up to nine goals.

Having lost for the first time this season, Rappahannock County fell to 3-1. As for Strasburg, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Coming up, Rappahannock County will look to defend their home pitch on Monday against Luray at 7:00 p.m. Rappahannock County are facing Luray at the right time seeing as Luray are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Strasburg, they are taking a road trip to square off against Page County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
