Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Maggie Sliwa and Jasmine Daniels Lead Hamilton Southeastern to Victory

Hamilton Southeastern won the last time they faced New Castle and things went their way on Saturday too. The Royals came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Royals.

Leading Hamilton Southeastern to victory were Jasmine Daniels and Maggie Sliwa. Daniels had 13 assists and five digs, while Sliwa had 16 assists. Daniels is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 13 every time she's taken the court this season. Naomi Gerig also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

When it comes to explaining why New Castle lost, don't look at Emily Luce. Despite the final result, she had nine digs and two assists.

Hamilton Southeastern's record now sits at 17-2. As for New Castle, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 12-7.

Coming up, Hamilton Southeastern will square off against Roncalli at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Castle, they will challenge Pendleton Heights at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
