Football Game Preview: Springbrook Blue Devils vs. Northwood Gladiators + Official Tickets

The Springbrook Blue Devils are taking a road trip to challenge the Northwood Gladiators at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Springbrook comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

On Friday, Springbrook was beaten by Bethesda-Chevy Chase 44-13.

Springbrook's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Aidyn Thomasson, who picked up 98 receiving yards and one score, and Zeke Blinkoff, who threw for 141 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Blinkoff also rushed for nine rushing yards, marking his first of the season.

Meanwhile, Northwood had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down Centennial 26-12 on Friday.

Northwood's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Springbrook, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

Everything came up roses for Springbrook against Northwood when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 55-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Devils since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
