Soccer Game Preview: Timnath vs. Greeley Central + How To Watch

The Timnath Cubs will venture away from home to take on the Greeley Central Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Greeley Central will be up against a hot Timnath team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Cubs never let Berthoud get on the board and left with a 4-0 win on Tuesday. Timnath's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matches.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Greeley Central). They blew past Wellington 11-1 on Tuesday. With Greeley Central ahead 11-1 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Their offense was hitting Wellington from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Diego Guzman led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by himself.

Timnath's victory bumped their record up to 9-0-4. As for Greeley Central, their win bumped their record up to 12-1-1.

Timnath beat Greeley Central by a goal in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cubs since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
