Volleyball Recap: Chambers/Wheeler Central Takes a Loss

Chambers/Wheeler Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Burwell Longhorns. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Longhorns this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-12, 25-14.

Karsyn Bower went supernova For Burwell., getting 21 digs and two assists. That's the most assists Bower has posted over her last six contests.

Chambers/Wheeler Central's defeat dropped their record down to 5-20. As for Burwell, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Chambers/Wheeler Central will square off against Niobrara/Verdigre at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Burwell, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Elba at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
