Soccer Game Preview: Harvest-Westminster vs. Byron

The Harvest-Westminster Warrior-Lions will take on the Byron Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Harvest-Westminster is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.7 goals per game this season.

Harvest-Westminster gave up the first goal on Monday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Yorkville Christian, sneaking past 3-2. The win was familiar territory for Harvest-Westminster, who have now won three contests in a row.

Heitor Bannwart and Lucas Menezes scored all three of Harvest-Westminster's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 36 goals.

Meanwhile, Byron fell victim to Serena and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Huskers.

Harvest-Westminster's victory bumped their record up to 15-3-1. As for Byron, their loss dropped their record down to 12-3-1.

Harvest-Westminster came out on top in a nail-biter against Byron when the teams last played back in September of 2016, sneaking past 1-0. Will the Warrior-Lions repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
