Basketball Recap: Garland Triumphs

Garland's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Irving Tigers by a score of 52-43. That's more bragging rights for the Owls, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win got Garland back to even at 1-1. As for Irving, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Garland will be playing in front of their home fans against Seagoville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Irving, they are taking a road trip to challenge Episcopal School of Dallas at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
