Basketball Recap: Woodland Takes a Loss

Woodland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a blow against the Wadley Bulldogs, falling 65-35. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-35 last Friday.

It was another big night for Frisco Robertson, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten steals for Wadley. Demon Spraddling was another key player, going 5 of 9 en route to 13 points and four steals.

Woodland's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Wadley, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Woodland Bobcats duke it out with the Victory Christian Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wadley, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 70-54 loss against Handley on the 18th.
