Volleyball Recap: Mahopac Indians vs. Clarkstown South Vikings        
        
		
             It was a good run, but  Mahopac unfortunately witnessed the end of their  three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell  3-1 to the Clarkstown South Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the  3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in September of 2023.
 After all that action, the final score was 25-18, 25-18, 13-25,  29-27.
 Despite the loss, Mahopac still got an impressive performance from   Andriana DiVincenzo, who  had 18  digs, five  kills, and a  block. DiVincenzo is  on a roll when it comes to  kills, as she's  now  had five or more in the last four games she's  played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Taylor Vitiello, who  had 17  digs, eight  kills, and two  aces.
 She wasn't the only good server: Mahopac  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 14  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least six  aces in five consecutive  matchups.
 Mahopac's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Clarkstown South, their  victory (their first of the  season) made their record 1-3.
 Mahopac will welcome Carmel  at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Clarkstown South, they will face off against Ursuline at 7:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
