Greeneville barely beat Jefferson County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Greene Devils never let the Patriots get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory on Tuesday. Greeneville's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three contests.

Greeneville's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Jefferson County, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Greeneville will square off against Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jefferson County, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Clarksville at 8:30 p.m. on September 5.
