Basketball Recap: Needham Comes Up Short

Needham lost against Catholic Memorial back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Needham Rockets received a blow as they fell 78-63 to the Catholic Memorial Knights.

Needham now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Catholic Memorial, they pushed their record up to 11-7 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

The future could be bright for both Needham and Catholic Memorial: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Needham will try to hand Boston College High their fifth-straight loss when the two meet at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Catholic Memorial will look to extend Lynn English's four-game losing streak when the meet at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday.
