The North Davidson Black Knights will venture away from home to challenge the Eastern Guilford Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Davidson is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4 goals per game this season.

If Eastern Guilford heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when North Davidson took over last week. North Davidson came out on top against Wheatmore by a score of 3-1 on Monday. Lily Sullivan had to tread lightly for part of the match after she was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble the Black Knights got from the refs.

Blakely Powers and Lillian Darga scored all three of North Davidson's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Meanwhile, Eastern Guilford had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They had just enough and edged out Western Guilford 5-4.

North Davidson's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Eastern Guilford, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.

North Davidson took their win against Eastern Guilford in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 8-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Davidson since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
