Basketball Game Preview: St. Albans Bulldogs vs. Parkside Eagles

The St. Albans Bulldogs will head out to take on the Parkside Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in St. Albans' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

St. Albans saw some tournament action on Saturday. They managed a 67-61 victory over St. Mary's.

Grant Polk continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 8 of 14 en route to 24 points along with five assists and three steals. His morning made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylen Wills, who posted 18 points and five assists.

Meanwhile, Parkside played a tough match on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Friendship Tech Prep Academy an easy 89-63 win. The Eagles were down 73-43 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

St. Albans now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Parkside, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

St. Albans took their victory against Parkside in their previous matchup back in January by a conclusive 95-75. In that contest, St. Albans amassed a halftime lead of 60-28, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
