Soccer Recap: Troy Snags Ninth Victory in Last Ten Games

Troy barely beat Tecumseh the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Trojans never let the Arrows get on the board and left with a 5-0 win on Thursday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Troy's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 110th, while Tecumseh are ranked 279th).

Troy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 70 goals over those ten matches. As for Tecumseh, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Troy will venture away from home to square off against Piqua at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tecumseh, they will head out to face off against Benjamin Logan at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
