Softball Recap: Ogilvie Comes Up Short

Ogilvie lost against Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Lions came up short against the Huskies, falling 11-3. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Josie Bitz was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one double. Tatum McIlroy also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Ogilvie now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia], their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ogilvie will face off against Pine City at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia], they will take on Browerville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
