Basketball Recap: Peoples Academy Comes Up Short

Peoples Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 62-33 loss at the hands of the Harwood Highlanders. The match marked the Wolves' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Peoples Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Harwood, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-3.

Peoples Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 76-68 win against U-32 on the 20th. As for Harwood, they will face off against Randolph at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Randolph has won four straight at home, while Harwood won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
