It was a good run, but Rockford Auburn unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 51-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Freeport Pretzels. The Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Pretzels earlier this season, when they won 59-55.

Freeport found their leader in sophomore Paityn London, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 18 rebounds. London's evening made it 23 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Keagan Huggins, who posted seven points and 12 boards.

Rockford Auburn's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-8. As for Freeport, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

Rockford Auburn has already played their next contest, a 56-47 win against Marian Central Catholic on the 29th. As for Freeport, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 69-29 victory against Larkin on the 29th.
