            The Chariho Chargers will take on the Burrillville Broncos at 1:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (Chariho 4, Burrillville 2.8) so any  runs scored will be well earned.
Friday just wasn't the day for Chariho's offense. They took  a  3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Central on Friday. The  defeat   continues a  trend for the Chargers in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost three in a row.
 Chariho got a good showing from  Ethan Gordon, who   tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Gordon has been consistent  recently: he hasn't  given up  more than one  hit any time he's  pitched this season.
Meanwhile,  it may have taken  eight innings to finish the job, but Burrillville ultimately got the result they hoped for  on Monday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Johnston, sneaking past  6-5. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Broncos.
 Cam Laramee made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  struck out eight batters over  six innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   three  hits. Laramee was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with one  home run and four  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Jordan Furtado, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-5.
 Chariho's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Burrillville,  the  victory also got them back to even at 2-2.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart  on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Chariho has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 8.2  strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Burrillville struggles in that department as   they've been averaging  an even more impressive 7.2  strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
