Baseball Recap: Bolles Takes a Loss

Bolles entered their contest against Creekside on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Bolles came up short against Creekside, falling 13-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bulldogs have suffered since February 21st.

Bolles saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was James McCranie, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

The loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 12-5. As for Creekside, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bolles will take on Englewood at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last seven games Englewood has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Creekside, they are taking a road trip to challenge St. Joseph Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Joseph Academy will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Creekside surely won't give up without a fight.
