Softball Recap: Seminole's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Seminole had no problem doing just that on Friday. They skirted past the Dumas Demons 6-4. The win was nothing new for the Indians as they're now sitting on four straight.

Zoey Teichroeb spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on three hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Sunni Casarez was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Seminole's victory bumped their record up to 24-7. As for Dumas, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 28-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Demons beat Seminole by a score of 10-0 on Saturday.
