Basketball Recap: Ferndale Takes a Loss

Ferndale was the 58-57 winner over Avondale when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Ferndale Eagles were outmatched by the Avondale Yellowjackets and fell 63-36. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ferndale's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Avondale, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Ferndale didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 65-53 defeat against East Kentwood on the 1st. As for Avondale, they will square off against Groves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
