Rich entered their tilt with Wendover on Friday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Rich took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-15, 25-10.

Kira Hoffman paced Rich's offense, picking up five kills. Hoffman got some help from Tess Cornia and her 15 assists.

Despite the loss, Wendover saw an underclassman step up: freshman Emily Loll had five digs and three aces.

Rich's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Wendover, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-20 record this season.

Rich didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Tintic on the 4th. As for Wendover, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Altamont on the 4th.
