She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
In other batting news, Tottenville got a massive performance out of Piera Campagna, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple was Campagna's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Gianna Jakubauskas, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one triple.
Tottenville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .593. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .304 or higher in five consecutive contests.
Tottenville pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.0 runs over those games. As for Fort Hamilton, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.
