Much to be decided as all classifications - except Class 3A - close the regular season.

It has been a fun and eventful 2021 high school football regular season in Colorado, and it comes to a close in nearly all classifications this Saturday. Only Class 3A has one more week remaining in the regular season.

There are six games between Top 25 teams this week, mostly at the 5A level. League championships will be decided by some of those games, while all will give teams one last shot at playoff positioning.

Topping the list is top-ranked Valor Christian (Highlands Ranch) meeting No. 15 ThunderRidge (Highlands Ranch) and quarterback Seth Frasier (video above). Both teams are undefeated in the 5A Douglas County League.

Another biggie is seventh-ranked Arapahoe (Centennial) squaring off against No. 11 Grandview (Aurora). An Arapahoe win gives the Warriors the Centennial League outright, while a Grandview victory likely forges a three-way tie with two-time defending state champion Cherry Creek (Greenwood Village).

In the 5A Jeffco League, No. 13 Pomona (Arvada) will claim the league title with a win against No. 14 Columbine (Littleton), but a Rebels win will force Pomona to share the title with the winner of the matchup between No. 20 Arvada West and fifth-ranked Ralston Valley (Arvada).

Of note in Class 4A, No. 17 Dakota Ridge (Littleton) can lock up the 4A Metro 1 League crown by beating neighborhood rival Chatfield (Littleton), ranked No. 22. A Chatfield win could mean a three-way tie with Bear Creek (Lakewood) if the Bears beat Golden this week.

Here's a quick look at what you need to know regarding the other top games, teams and players from around the state this week.
