Maury hadn't done well against Lake Taylor recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Tuesday. The Maury Commodores claimed a resounding  52-23 win over the Lake Taylor Titans. The Commodores have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten  matches by 22  points or more this season.
 Among those leading the charge was   Camori Veal, who  posted 12  points.  Nyla Brown was another key player,  putting up nine points.
The  victory made it two in a row for Maury and  bumps their season record up to 17-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.5 points over those games. As for Lake Taylor, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four games,  which has put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record  this season.
 Looking ahead, Maury will challenge Warwick at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday. Maury is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.2  points per game  this season. Lake Taylor does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
