Baseball Recap: Southside Takes a Loss

The Southside Panthers came up short against the Mundelein Mustangs on Wednesday, falling 9-3.

Southside's defeat dropped their record down to 19-5. As for Mundelein, the win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Southside Panthers take on Fort Payne Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Fort Payne has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Mundelein, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 10-0 victory against Coffee County Central on the 27th.
