After soaring to 15 runs the game before, Page was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They lost 12-2 to the Taos Tigers. The Sand Devils' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Page got a good showing from Kaleb Nez, who struck out six batters over 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits.

On the hitting side, Page saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hershal Yazzie, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Page's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Taos, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-5.

Looking ahead, Page will challenge Aztec at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Taos, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Taos Tigers duke it out with Montezuma-Cortez Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Their pitchers better be ready for this one: Montezuma-Cortez has averaged an impressive 8.4 runs per game this season.
