Basketball Recap: Jackson Memorial Jaguars vs. Neptune Scarlet Fliers
Jackson Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 43-33 to the Neptune Scarlet Fliers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jaguars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 56-48 back in January.
Neptune found their leader in freshman Tyeera Howard, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 15 boards. Those 15 rebounds set a new season-high mark for Howard. Christa Ramos was another key player, putting up seven points.
Jackson Memorial's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-5. As for Neptune, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-10.
