             Medina Valley hadn't done well against Brackenridge recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Saturday. The Medina Valley Panthers blew past the Brackenridge Eagles, posting  a  101-47 victory. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven  contests by 22  points or more this season.
 Despite the  loss, Brackenridge saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Jaymison Porter  went 6 for 13 en route to 15 points plus two  steals. Porter is trending in the right direction considering he's  improved his point production for three straight games.
 Medina Valley has  been performing  well recently as they've  won four of their last five matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record  this season. As for Brackenridge,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 4-16.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Medina Valley will venture away from home to  take on Churchill  at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Brackenridge, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Edison  at 6:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Brackenridge is facing Edison at the right time seeing as Edison is stuck on  a  six-game losing streak.
